Bloodred Skies
Bloodred Skies

Remember how we used to lie
On the beach below bloodred skies
Time on earth stood still
Beside crashing waves and falling tears
Well time’s begun to move again
Our sunny day’s begun to end
The darkness don’t mean we’re done
I’ll be back like a risin sun
Bloodred skies gotta golden glow
Reflect the good times
Though your sad to go
See the white moon shine
Think of me my friend
That’s the sun comin’ round the bend
I dreamed I smelled salt on your skin
Saw tranquil seas in a Western Land
Woke up and I prayed to God
Save me from this cold land and heart
Today the clouds were blown away
Heard I’ll see you by daybreak
Keep my eyes on the road
Let the sunset lead me home
Bloodred skies gotta golden glow
Reflect the good times
Though your sad to go
See the white moon shine
Think of me my friend
That’s the sun comin round the bend
No more cryin’
By daylight
I’ll be back in your arms again
